Overview
We are seeking qualified candidates for multiple positions to be proposed on a government contract with the Department of the Interior (DOI) in Denver, CO. This opportunity is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside and involves providing a broad array of accounting and financial management services for the DOI's Financial Management Directorate.

Contract Details
Location: Denver, Colorado (Interior Business Center)
Period of Performance: 3/18/2026-3/17/2029 (Based + up to 2 Option Years)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5pm (Mountain Tie), excluding Federal holidays
Clearance: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation (NAC/NACI)

Available Positions (Multiple Openings)
We are seeking resumes for the following labor categories (16 estimated FTEs to be proposed):

Project Manager (1 FTE)
  •  Experience in an Information Systems Environment.
  •  Specialized experience as project leader or lead analyst on major application.
  •  General Management experience.
  •  IBM mainframe experience.
 ADP general experience.
  •  Ability to work as a team member with effective communication skills to coordinate efforts and prepare presentations to management, systems accountants, programmers and others.
  •  Supervisory and contract management experience.
  •  OFF and SAP experience is desirable.

Accounting Clerk I (4 FTE)
  •  Education or in a training capacity which indicates a knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, concepts and theories and the ability to apply them to a variety of financial problems. Education or in a training capacity which indicates a knowledge of the theory, principles and practice of fund accounting in a federal government environment.
  •  Education or in a training capacity which would indicate an ability to analyze, reconcile and interpret financial data, extract pertinent details and prepare reports in a federal financial environment specifically dealing with deposit funds, vendor payments, cash collections, un-liquidated obligations, payroll and/or property.
  •  Education or in a training capacity which would indicate a knowledge of computerized accounting systems, particularly accounting systems designed to account for appropriated funds.
  •  Education or in a training capacity which would indicate a working knowledge of computerized word processing and spreadsheet application software.
  •  Potential in maintaining effective interaction with employees and customers from various organization and potential ability to communicate effectively regarding financial matters, both orally and in writing.
Accounting Clerk II (7 FTE)
  •  Limited experience which required some knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, concepts and theories and the ability to apply them to a variety of financial problems. Limited knowledge to the theory, principles, and practices of fund accounting in a federal government environment.
  •  Limited experience with analyzing and interpreting financial data. Assists in preparing and gathering data for preparing reconciliation. Exposure to accounting data dealing with deposit funds, vendor payments, cash collections, un-liquidated obligations, payroll and/or property.
  •  Worked with at least one computerized accounting systems. Worked with entering, researching and interpreting a few types of accounting transactions in the financial system.
  •  Limited exposure to working with computerized word processing and spreadsheet application software.
  •  Demonstrated skills in the accomplishment of team/section goals and objectives, in which the scope of the work involves interaction with other team members and employees limited to personnel at a subordinate level. Skill in maintaining effective working relationship to communicate financial matters, both orally and in writing.
Accounting Clerk III (1 FTE)
  •  Experience which required some knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, concepts and theories and the ability to apply them to a wide variety of financial problems. Experience which required some knowledge to the theory, principles and practice of fund accounting in a federal government environment.
  •  Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data. Under the direction of a supervisor, prepares reconciliations and reports in a federal financial environment, specifically dealing with deposit funds, vendor payments, cash collections, un-liquidated obligations, payroll and/or property.
  •  Worked with at least one computerized accounting systems. Worked with entering, researching and interpreting several types of accounting transactions in the financial systems.
  •  Worked with computerized word processing and spreadsheet application software.
  •  Demonstrated skills in the accomplishment of team/section goals and objectives, in which the scope of the work involves interaction with other team members, employees and customers from various levels of an organization and with several different organizations. Skill in maintaining effective working relationships to communicate financial matters, both orally and in writing.
Automation Specialist (2 FTE)
  •  Provides technical and administrative direct support for personnel performing RPA softwaredevelopment tasks including assisting in the review of work product for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
  • Provides support in the areas of analysis, design, development and implementation of RPA and related software.
  • Support project tasks for RPA.
  • Undertakes studies and analyses to identify areas for productivity improvements.
  • Responsibilities may include analyzing data and processes, performing testing, documenting workflows and processes, shadowing, and recording processes for automation, assisting in the development of deliverables, and supporting solution methods prescribed by supervisors and managers.
  • Financial Systems and software used: Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) and Oracle Federal Financials (OFF) and RPA software.
Financial Analyst (1 FTE)
  •  Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, concepts and theories and the ability to apply them to a wide variety of financial problems. Knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of fund accounting in a federal government environment.
  •  Ability to analyze, reconcile and interpret financial data, pertinent details and prepare reports in final form, in a federal financial environment specifically dealing with deposit funds, vendor payments, cash collections, un-liquidated obligations and property.
  •  Knowledge of computerized accounting systems; including knowledge of electronic spreadsheet and word processing software applications.
  •  Ability to assist, coordinate and participate in studies, reviews surveys, task forces and other assignments regarding accounting and financial matters underlying the system design and operations of an automated accounting system.
  •  Ability to assist in coordinating projects and effectively interact with employees and customers from various organizations and ability to communicate effectively regarding financial and staffing matters, both orally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional accounting, financial, and operational support for federal client organizations.
  • Perform day-to-day accounting operations, transaction processing, and financial analysis.
  • Support automation and process improvement efforts.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and professional service in a government environment.
  • Comply with all DOI, OMB, and federal information security standards and ethics. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting federal government accounting or financial operations.
  • Knowledge of federal financial management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Momentum)
  • Experience with Service Contract Act (SCA) covered positions and wage determinations.
